Church Departments

SERVICE GROUPS:
As you grow with us in Lifeline Bible Church, there are groups that offer you wonderful opportunities to serve the Lord in the fellowship of the brethren. They include:

1. Worship Team:
Members of this team lead the Church in worship and minister to the congregation through anointed songs and choruses. They also perform at events like weddings, funerals and naming ceremonies. They organize live concerts and hope to record their songs in tapes and compact disks soon. 

2. Prayer Team:
Prayer is vital to the Christian life and ministry. This group regularly prays and intercedes for Church members, programmes, our partners around the world as well as handles sundry prayer points and requests. The members go on Fasting & Prayer Retreats regularly.

3. Evangelism Team:
The task of reaching the Un-reached with the Gospel of Christ is the primary responsibility of this group. They go out regularly for one-on-one evangelism and also minister through tracts, film-shows, live dramas etc.

4. Follow-up Team:
This team consists of all House Fellowship Pastors and other volunteers who work together to follow-up new visitors and converts so as to integrate them into the Church through personal visits, phone calls, e-mails, etc. They also teach the basic tenets and rudiments of the Christian faith at our Discipleship Classes, organize WCater Baptisms and handle counselling needs.

5. Ushering Team:
This team is the protocols and traffic control unit of the Church and works to ensure organization, orderliness and proper coordination during Church programmes in the auditorium as well as the car parks. They also monitor security around the Church premises generally.

6. Organizing Team:
Members clean and get the Church and its surroundings set for meetings and programmes. There is aesthetics and beautification and also a technical arm in charge of electrical fittings, electronic equipment as well as the audiovisual productions.

7. Children Teachers' Team:
The team consists of all the teachers in the Children Department of the Church. They meet together every week to pray for the children in their care, plan programmes and review their lessons together and discuss issues of common interest. They also visit these children at home regularly, pray with them and advice parents on crucial matters relating to their children's discipline and welfare.

8. Welfare Team:
This team collaborates with the central leadership of the church as well as the House Fellowship pastors to see to the welfare needs of members. One of its arms also attends to the hospitality needs of in-house and guest ministers.
